Urethrotomy and End-to-End Urethroplasty in Anterior Urethral Strictures upto 1.5cm Dept of Urology Mayo Hospital, Lahore

Aim: To compare internal optical urethrotomy with end-to-end urethroplasty in treatment of anterior urethral stricture (<1.5cm) terms recurrence. Study design: Cross-sectional Study. Place and duration study: Mayo hospital, department urology. June 2016 to July 2018 Methodology: Only 80 patients (40 individuals each class) were included the study nonprobability convenience sampling. Urethral same length was treated by class-A class-B, but different methods. 3 months after initial diagnosis, recurrence rate examined. SPSS-22 used enter analyse data. Result: Patients' recurrences three later indicated a significant difference (P=0.002) as P value less than 0.05. A 20% found class patients, whereas stricture-free 80% other 32. Stricture seen 52.5% B (internal urotomy), compared 47.5% A. Conclusion: is best therapy for strictures 1.5 cm or more, according this research.
